This week we welcomed a delegation from the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Archives and History to learn more about the work of The National Archives.

Members of the APPG were treated to a tour of our repositories, followed by a display of some of our iconic documents hosted by Dr Jess Nelson and Dr William Butler from our Collections Expertise and Engagement team.

Our Chief Executive, Saul Nassé, and our Director for Public Records Access & Government Services, Lucy Fletcher, gave the group an insight into our current projects with Parliament, the UK Government, and on managing digital records.

We look forward to working more closely with the APPG as we continue our vital work to preserve the public record.
