The Formula 1 2025 season kicks off in Melbourne, Australia this weekend, and with an exciting shakeup of teammate pairings and the addition of six fresh rookies on the grid, the first Grand Prix of the 75th season promises to be an eventful one. Of course, as a huge fan, I’ll be tuning in at midnight EST to watch the race, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t already thinking ahead to the Montreal Grand Prix in June — it’s the first race I’ll be attending in person, after all.

While that trip isn’t for another several months, I’ve already started to plan my outfits to ensure I’m showing up to the track looking my best throughout the three-day event. So, in celebration of the new season, I’ve rounded up the four looks I’ll be packing for my trip to Montreal later this year that will keep me comfy from the first practice to my plane ride home. My packable wardrobe essentials start at just $12; with travel staples like comfortable shoes, wide-leg pants, and more on the line-up, you don’t need to be attending an F1 event to add these stylish picks to your cart.

Look 1

With my allegiance split between three teams, my outfit for Friday’s practice will be geared towards the 2024 Constructors’ Championship winners: McLaren. June in Montreal promises a relatively wide temperature range, but with the hopes of a sunny day on the calendar, I’ll be keeping it comfy and cool with the oversized Abercrombie McLaren Vintage-inspired Graphic Tee that’s now on sale for just $32.

As a vehement shorts hater, the Lillusory Women’s Linen Summer Palazzo Pants will be the perfect bottoms for a casual Friday in the sun, while the Adidas Gazelle Indoor Women’s Sneakers will provide a pop of color to this monochromatic outfit. I also plan on packing snacks to munch on from my seat as well as my portable fan and charger, so the Baggu Medium Nylon Crescent Bag is the best spacious pick that doesn’t sacrifice style.

Look 2

Since my beloved Carlos Sainz signed with Williams Racing for the 2025 season, I have no choice but to support the team (and my favorite driver, of course). My search for the perfect vintage Williams tee on Ebay went south, so I’ll opt instead for this sporty LouKeith Tennis Skort and Pumiey Women’s Square Neck Tank Top combo that will keep me temperate and comfortable for a day in the stands.

If I’m met with afternoon clouds during the qualifying event, I’ll slip on the Everlane The Must-have Shirt to get some Williams blue into my outfit. Paired with the $12 Pander Two-way Zipper Belt Bag, my hands will be free to clap once Sainz gets P3 on the grid (a girl can dream) — plus it’s the perfect airport accessory to keep my belongings safe and secure.

Look 3

Ferrari was a fierce competitor in 2024, but with Lewis Hamilton joining the team this year after 12 seasons racing for Mercedes, I’m excited to see if another world championship is in the cards for the driver or the team. The Iuga Women’s Tennis Dress in vivid red will signal my support from the stands — especially considering it’s made with built-in shorts and sweat-wicking fabric that will be a dream under the hot summer sun that Sunday.

To prioritize comfort, I’ll wear my tried-and-true travel shoes, Converse Chuck Taylor All-star Canvas Sneakers, and carry the Bostanten Vegan Leather Small Crossbody Bag which has just enough room for my phone and other small essentials without taking up too much space in the stands. And of course, if the sun protection from this Scuderia Ferrari Classic Hat isn’t enough, I’ll be prepared with backup from the timeless Madewell Valoma Chunky Oval Sunglasses that are currently on sale for $65.

Look 4

I’ll be traveling the day after the Grand Prix, and since I’m sure I’ll be exhausted, elevated pajamas are the look I’ll be channeling at the airport. The cotton-blend Lillusory Women’s 2-piece Cardigan Set is cute enough to wear out to breakfast before my afternoon flight, and I especially love that the lightweight cardigan will be easy to take off and slip into my bag if the flight gets toasty. Naturally, I’ll pair that with slip-on clogs; while I’m partial to the Birkenstock Boston style, you can also snag the Cushionaire Hana Slip-on Buckle Clogs for a mere $30 to get the look for less.

One thing you won’t want to cut corners on? The Calpak Terra 26L Laptop Duffel Backpack. Its spacious design fits as much as my favorite weekender bag, but it slips under the airplane seat without a hitch and keeps my hands free. Lights out and away we go!
