The text selections range in genre; there are inspirational quotes, tokens of sage advice, and tongue-in-cheek witticisms that would be equally at home on Homegoods wall hangings.

Regardless of your opinion of Comic Sans, these bathrooms are a treasure: roadside whimsy on the route to Door County, a peek inside the mind of a tortured graphic designer—or perhaps goofy gas station designer—and above all, a reminder that the world we live in, so often well-designed, is full of little pockets of lawless play and free will.
