Three new resorts in Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel, and Cancun will be rebranded as Rixos Hotels, marking the brand’s debut in Mexico.

Ennismore, a prominent lifestyle and leisure hospitality company, has announced strategic expansion plans by adding six all-inclusive resorts in the Americas. This move adds over 1600 rooms and 900 keys across two properties in the pipeline, further strengthening Ennismore’s position in the high-growth, high-margin luxury all-inclusive segment.

Three of the new resorts, located in Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel, and Cancun, will undergo renovations and be rebranded as Rixos Hotels. This marks the arrival of Rixos, a world leader in luxury all-inclusive resorts, in Mexico. Rixos has been redefining the all-inclusive experience for over two decades, providing luxury experiences with exceptional culinary destinations and highly curated entertainment.

Rixos, now a part of Ennismore, has seen exponential growth since 2017, more than tripling its network and pipeline across Turkey, the Middle East, Egypt, and Asia. The remaining properties in Cancun, Acapulco, and Ixtapa will continue to operate under the existing brand.

In 2023, Ennismore launched the ALL Inclusive Collection, a curated selection of the best resorts from leading lifestyle brands, including Rixos, SLS, SO/, and Hyde. 

Adding the six new resorts in Mexico aligns with Ennismore’s strategic focus on accelerating its growth in the Americas. To further reinforce its commitment to the region, Ennismore has opened an office in Cancun. The group now has a network and pipeline of over 70 American resorts.

The deal includes these resorts and is part of a broader agreement under Accor. It is expected to close in the second half of the year, pending customary regulatory authorisations, including antitrust approval.
