The Oberoi Group has announced the opening of The Oberoi Vindhyavilas Wildlife Resort, Bandhavgarh, located near the Bandhavgarh National Park in India. The resort, which has been recognized in TIME Magazine USA’s ‘World’s Greatest Places of 2025,’ offers an immersive guest experience in a unique location.

The Oberoi Vindhyavilas is designed to mirror the Vindhya mountain ranges’ natural surroundings and central India’s cultural heritage. The resort’s architecture and design draw heavily from local craftsmanship and traditional materials, creating a destination that pays homage to the region’s indigenous Gond and Baiga tribes.

Set on a 21-acre forested expanse, the resort comprises 19 luxury tents and two large Luxury Villas with private pools. The interiors of the luxury tents boast tribal-inspired details and tented canopies adorned with intricate motifs. Each tent has a private floating deck and an expansive private garden, offering guests a close connection with nature.

The resort also offers a unique culinary journey led by Executive Chef Sachin Kumar, who brings with him a deep understanding of the region’s traditional culinary traditions. The Dining Room showcases heirloom recipes and Madhya Pradesh’s signature culinary styles, with local ingredients taking center stage.

Guests can enjoy a variety of meal settings, such as high tea under a canopy, grills and barbecues by the lake, or intimate dining in the restaurant. The bar also offers a selection of craft cocktails, regional teas, and fine wines.
