Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Place Nairobi Westlands and Hyatt House Nairobi Westlands. This marks the first dual-branded Hyatt project in Africa, providing travelers and World of Hyatt members with a versatile choice of accommodation in Nairobi.
The dual-branded development is ideally situated along Lower Kabete Road, near Nairobi’s key attractions, such as the Westgate Mall, the Nairobi National Museum, and Karura Forest. These locations make the hotels an ideal destination for business and leisure travelers seeking convenience and comfort.
“The opening of Hyatt Place Nairobi Westlands and Hyatt House Nairobi Westlands highlights an exciting milestone for Hyatt as the first dual-branded project in Africa,” said Stephen Ansell, Managing Director, Middle East and Africa, Hyatt. He underscored that the location is designed to accommodate both short-term and extended-stay guests, providing a harmonious mix of comfort, convenience, and local culture.
As a dual-branded project, the hotels offer guests the unique flexibility of two distinct accommodation experiences under one roof. The Hyatt Place Nairobi Westlands offers modern rooms designed for contemporary comfort. At the same time, the Hyatt House Nairobi Westlands brings a fresh approach to extended-stay residential living with well-appointed studios and one-bedroom apartments, ideal for those seeking long-term accommodations.
The hotels also offer a variety of shared amenities for guests, which include 24/7 conveniences such as all-day dining options, onsite guest laundry, a 24/7 fitness center, and free WiFi, among others. In addition, the hotels are one of the few pet-friendly establishments in Nairobi, broadening their appeal.
The dual-branded property also offers distinct dining experiences, catering to various tastes. Executive Chef John Muriithi oversees the culinary offerings, delivering a dynamic mix of locally inspired and globally recognized dishes.
For those seeking to maintain their fitness routines, the hotels feature a 24/7 fitness center, an outdoor pool, and access to various local running paths and green spaces. Additionally, 8,514 square feet of flexible meeting space, including four meeting rooms and a boardroom, is available for business travelers, making the property a top choice for corporate events.
Located in the heart of the Westlands area, Hyatt Place Nairobi Westlands and Hyatt House Nairobi Westlands offer guests easy access to Nairobi’s premier shopping and entertainment districts and some of its most beloved attractions, thereby ensuring a wholesome experience for every type of traveler.
