Hulu’s new TV and movie releases for January 6-12 2025 include The Rookie Season 7 and Will Trent Season 3.

January 8 brings both The Rookie Season 7 and Will Trent Season 3 premieres to Hulu.

The Rookie is a police procedural comedy-drama series that follows the personal as well as professional lives of LAPD officer John Nolan and his allies/friends.

Meanwhile, Will Trent is a crime drama following the titular character, who after being raised in a harsh foster care system, works to ensure no child goes through what he had gone through as a child.

Also dropping on Hulu this week is American Star. This thriller mystery-drama movie revolves around an assassin (Ian McShane) who undertakes the final assignment of his career: to kill a man he has not met, in Fuerteventura. Unfortunately, things become complicated when his assignment is delayed, and he gets attached to Fuerteventura and its inhabitants. His situation becomes even worse when his target returns to his radar.
