Arsenal are interested in signing Arda Guler from Real Madrid, according to Sport. The report in the Spanish publication has claimed that with Guler struggling at Madrid, Arsenal see in him another case of Martin Odegaard, whom the Gunners also signed from the Spanish giants.

Guler has been on the books of Madrid since the summer of 2023 when he joined from Fenerbahce. The 19-year-old can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger. The Turkey international has had injury problems during his time at Los Blancos and has competition for places as well.

The youngster has made three starts and five substitute appearances in La Liga and has made three substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Carlo Ancelotti’s side so far this season. Guler scored six goals in four starts and six substitute appearances in La Liga last season. Madrid won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League last season.
