Artificial Intelligence has begun to play a prominent role in the field of tourism and has revolutionised the way travellers plan, book and enjoy travel. The different areas in which Artificial Intelligence is present in tourism includes the personalisation of experiences, booking management and customer service, chatbots, facial recognition and translation.

This presence of AI in the tourism sector is what has motivated the organisation of this competition with the aim of finding the best solutions developed with this technology at national and international level, integrated by destinations and companies in the tourism sector to improve the experience of tourists before, during and after their trips.

this second edition will have a single category for the best AI 2024 solution from companies in all tourism verticals – hotel chains, airlines, travel agencies, etc. – as well as destinations. Headed by SEGITTUR, the jury will be made up of professionals from the world of tourism and technology who will assess the degree of technological innovation, usability, improvement of the user experience in its different facets, originality and degree of scalability.

 The deadline for submitting nominations is 16 December and the awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 23 January 2025 at FITUR Know-How & Export.
