Takara Leben REIT Agree to Acquire Spring Sunny Hotel Nagoya Tokoname Station for JPY2.2 Billion in Japan

MIRARTH Real Estate Advisory Inc., the asset management company of Japan-based Takara Leben Real Estate Investment Corporation (“Takara Leben REIT”) has acquired Spring Sunny Hotel Nagoya Tokoname Station from Japan-based Sun Frontier Hotel Management Inc. for JPY2.2 Billion. The 194-key hotel is located two-minute walk away from Tokoname Station, and ten-minute drive from Chubu Centrair International Airport. The property features one food and beverage outlet, and a public bath facility. The brand Spring Sunny Hotel is a joint venture of Japan-based Sun Frontier Fudousan Co Ltd and the China-based Spring Group. This has allowed the property to attract a stable business from the Spring Group Companies such as Spring Travel and Spring Airlines.

Singapore-based Anglo Fortune Capital Group has divested the 92-key Wander Tokyo Shibuya in Japan to an undisclosed buyer for an undisclosed sum. Hua Hin Airport in Thailand is set to undergo a THB300 million upgrade, according to local media reports. The development comprises two main projects: the first involves extending and widening the runway to meet international standards, while the second includes the expansion of the road tunnel, runway strip, and runway-end safety area. The upgrade is scheduled for completion by April 2026. Currently, Hua Hin Airport operates only one domestic route to and from Chiang Mai. The Thai Government intends to resume international flights at Hua Hin Airport in 2025 as part of the upgrade plan.
