Auberge Resorts Collection has welcomed Mohamed Elbanna as executive vice president of Global Operations. Elbanna’s career, spanning over 20 years, has been marked by a profound understanding of operational innovation and personalized service, making him a highly valued asset in the luxury hospitality sector.

In his new role, Elbanna will be principally responsible for overseeing daily operations across the Auberge portfolio. This will involve working closely with property teams to further enhance guest experiences, performance, and brand cohesion.

Elbanna’s previous role was as Chief Operating Officer for Fort Partners US’s Hospitality arm. He also held a significant position as Global Head of Operations at Citadel, a leading financial institution. His early career was spent at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where he ascended through the ranks in several international markets, eventually overseeing operations in Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean as Regional Vice President.

Elbanna’s appointment coincides with a period of expansion for Auberge Resorts Collection, particularly in European and urban markets. In Q1 2025, the brand inaugurated Collegio alla Querce, Auberge Resorts Collection in Florence, Italy, and The Woodward, Auberge Resorts Collection in Geneva. Later in 2025, the brand will see the anticipated opening of Cambridge House, Auberge Resorts Collection in Mayfair, London. This will be followed by several other urban locations, including The Shore Club, Auberge Resorts Collection in Miami Beach, Florida, The Knox, Auberge Resorts Collection in Dallas, Texas, and The Birdsall, Auberge Resorts Collection in Houston, Texas.

Elbanna, born and raised in Cairo, will be based in Auberge Resorts Collection’s Bethesda, Maryland office. Outside of his professional life, Elbanna is a keen road cyclist, avid tennis player, and Formula 1 enthusiast.
