Crystal Creek Capital, a private equity real estate investment firm, has announced the acquisition of Planters Inn, a luxury boutique hotel in Charleston, South Carolina’s Historic District.

In addition to assuming ownership, Crystal Creek Capital will also handle daily management of the 64-room hotel, which was originally built in 1844.

Known for its charming and luxurious atmosphere, Planters Inn is the only Relais & Châteaux property in Charleston.

Crystal Creek Capital plans to undertake an extensive renovation of the hotel further to enhance its status as a top-tier luxury boutique property and connect the guest experience with the city’s rich history. The company aims to infuse the hotel with Charleston’s vibrant cultural and culinary scene, ensuring it remains a symbol of Southern hospitality for future generations.
