No Country for Old Men’s Javier Bardem plays his Formula One team owner and close friend, Ruben, while Damson Idris portrays a rookie who Pitt’s character mentors.
“The highly anticipated Formula 1 racing feature stars Pitt as a former driver who returns to Formula 1, alongside Damson Idris as his teammate at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid,” Warner Bros. Pictures’ description of the film reads. “The feature has been shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport.”

The script for the movie was written by Ehren Kruger (Top Gun: Maverick, Transformers: Age of Extinction), while Daniel Lupi serves as an executive producer. Hans Zimmer composed the score.
