Star Wars: Skeleton Crew creators Jon Watts and Christopher Ford have some ideas for a second season.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew premiered on Disney+ in December with the first two episodes. New episodes have continued to drop weekly, while the season finale will be released later this evening.

Speaking to TechRadar, Watts and Ford discussed potentially continuing the Star Wars series starring Jude Law should Disney and Lucasfilm give Skeleton Crew Season 2 an official greenlight.

“Yeah, we wanted to make sure this season had a satisfying beginning, middle, and end. But, if people want to see more Skeleton Crew, we’d be happy to make more,” Watts said.

Ford added, “We’re dreaming of it [a second season]. We’ve come up with different possibilities, so never say never.”

Regarding where a potential story Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Season 2 could go, Watts said, “It’s exciting to think about. We’ve mainly been focused on telling this story, but there’s always a chance that they [the kids] could meet some surprising people in the future.”

Ford continued, “What’s exciting about these characters is the kids are actually kid actors. And they’re growing up. So, if they appeared in something else, we’d be telling the story of how they grew up and found their place in the galaxy.”

Along with Law as Jod Na Nawood, Skeleton Crew stars Ravi Cabot-Conyers as Wim, Ryan Kiera Armstrong as Fern, Kyriana Kratter as KB, Robert Timothy Smith as the voice of Neel, Nick Frost as the voice of SM-33, Kerry Condon as Fara, Tunde Adebimpe as Wendle, Alia Shawkat as the voice of Kh’ymm, Hala Finley as Hayna, Fred Tatasciore as the voice of Brutus, and more.

The first seven episodes of Skeleton Crew are now streaming on Disney+.
