YouTuber MrBeast has accused Reddit’s r/YouTube community of censoring his post about helping people with prosthetic legs. For the unversed, MrBeast recently uploaded a video titled “I Helped 2,000 People Walk Again,” wherein the streamer helps people get prosthetic legs. After the video’s premiere, the YouTuber also posted on X (formerly Twitter), expressing his frustration with the healthcare system. While the X post garnered positive reviews, MrBeast was unhappy to see his post removed from Reddit.

Why did MrBeast call out r/YouTube?

MrBeast is not too happy with Reddit‘s r/YouTube community. The social media influencer’s recent YouTube video where he pays for 2000 people’s prosthetic legs received immediate attention, clocking over 30 million views within two days of release. A post about Mr. Beast’s video was also on Reddit’s r/YouTube community. But moderators removed the post, which made Mr. Beast seemingly upset.

While replying to a comment on X, the YouTuber said, “Such a shame that the mods on r/youtube will do anything to censor Mrbeast unless it’s negative about me, then it’s magically fine.”

In an earlier post, the streamer discussed his intentions regarding making the video. He wrote, “Just uploaded a video where we helped 2,000 amputees walk again. Many live in America, and it feels so disgusting that in a country with this much wealth, a f***en YouTuber is their only option to get a prosthetic leg. We need to fix this.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Beast’s recent video depicted the difficulties many ordinary citizens face while trying to access prosthetic legs. Stephanie, one of the people featured in the video, shared she has not been able to walk in 15 years since she lost her leg.

At the end of the video, MrBeast directly referred to the condition of the healthcare insurance system. The 26-year-old YouTube star said, “The fact that some of these people had insurance but were denied, some of these people had insurance but didn’t have the right coverage, it doesn’t sit well with me.”

This was not the first time MrBeast helped those who needed prosthetic legs. The popular YouTuber shared a similar video in 2023 in which he helped 2000 people get new prosthetic limbs.
